complains!!

its time for me to complain about my uni. haha... not to say complain. its just some unsatisfactory ideas in my mind.

my course, biomedical science basically have some modules that we need to share with the bpharm. same goes to other health sciences except psychology. what i mean is that some subjects like general chemistry and statistics are being shared with bpharm. now, this is not a problem at all. the problem is, the uni created a new system for bpharm ONLY which is the e-learning portal.

e-learning is actually a system, which allows the students to access to pre-recorded lectures by the lecturers few days before the life lecture. they said its beneficial to us because we can listen to the lectures over and over again unlike life lectures when we only get to listen once.

why an i so disturbed since its only for bpharm students? like i mentioned previously, we are sharing some modules with them! thats why some of our lectures are thru this pre-recorded lectures. then, during the life lectures, its a Q&A session with the lecturers. one the first day which is on monday, a lady lecturer who is a bpharm lecturer (and also our lecturer of course) came in and ask "any question?". we were like, what?! we paid so much for that two words? after that maybe she realised we are all blurred so she explained a bit of the topic but in just 20 minutes. what the. then next lecturer was kind enough to ask us about the previous session and she got many negative feedback from the students.

next day they changed a little bit of their way of teaching which is during the life lectures, the lecturers are to summarise it so that we know what exactly is going on. but still, it doesnt work. many people still wants the life lectures because when there are lectures going on, the lecturers tend to give more examples and real life experiences instead of just whats in the slides.

plus, its freaking tiring to look for the notes everywhere. its not organized and some notes are not even under the lecturer's own name. now i understand why baby always stays until late night just to print the notes. some lecturers update their notes during midnight. damn. they even asked why we have not gone through the i-lectures (the pre-recorded one) and i was like, its damn difficult to look for your notes la.....i manage to find it counted a thumbs up already. after printing all its freaking-ly late. what else do you want. you want me to study until late night and sleeps in your class the next morning? tell me and i will do so.

i am not asking them to close the e-learning portal. its good in such way that we can always revise the lectures anytime. but at least the lecturers also explain it during the life lectures. thats what they are paid for right? cant they do a little bit more for us? i wonder if they understand how we feel. ..........
